Reports To: Installation Supervisor

Position Summary: 

This position takes a lead role in the maintenance and upkeep of the warehouse and parts room. Position will also include loading and unloading of company and wholesaler trucks/trailers. Will be required to keep an inventory of all parts currently in stock.  

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist installation and service crews with miscellaneous duties.

• Light maintenance and service on scissor lifts, trailers, tools, and equipment.

• Make part runs to local retailers/vendors to purchase and pick up parts/supplies.

• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks as needed.

• Keep the shop clean at all times, garbage’s and recycling bin & dumpsters dumped as needed.  

• Check in all parts delivered by UPS, FedEx, vendors and all other freight companies daily. 

• Match “packing list” with Purchase Orders and give tickets attached to Gary or Jim K. on a daily basis.

• Tag all parts that are for work orders with a “Green Tag” and put the work order #, PO # and part # on the tag. 

• Ordering of all stock parts.

• Restocking of truck inventories on a daily basis.

• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• Ability to read and understand packing slips.

• Ability to keep a clean work environment.

• Assemble customer orders for shipping, delivery, and installation.

• Understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.

• Ability to learn ERP software for inventory management.

  

Preferred Qualifications:

• General knowledge of tools and mechanical equipment.

• Ability to understand measurements and perform simple arithmetical computations with speed and accuracy.

• Experience with inventory tracking is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and walk with loads up to 150 lbs. with the assistance of at least one other employee as needed.  

• Must be able to stand on feet for the entire duration of the scheduled shift.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse employees will be working primarily, but not limited to, the distribution building.  

• Employee may spend extended periods of time in a non air-conditioned, non-heated building.
